Year 3

Hello and welcome to Year 3 Cedar Class!

Ms Carvalho is the class teacher and she is supported by Mr Davis.

The images and pieces we will study this year are the marble bust of the Emperor Hadrian wearing military dress, the “Thames Below Westminster” by Monet and the Bayeux Tapestry.

    Specific Aims and Important Information

At this stage of the year, the children will be working on their times tables (particularly the 3, 4 and 8 times tables), and their written methods for multiplication and division in maths. In English the children will be working across the curriculum alongside History. We will be looking into the impact of the Roman invasion and focusing on Boudicca a native Briton and Queen of the Iceni tribe.

Double P.E. will usually take place on Thursday so please ensure children have the correct kit. This may occasionally change, so please ensure your child has their P.E. kit in school every Monday for the week.
