Parents

I/We will try to:

• see that my child goes to school regularly, on time and properly equipped
• make sure that my child wears the correct uniform which supports high standards, unity and health and safety
• make the school aware of any concerns or problems that might affect my child’s work or behaviour
• support the school‘s policies and guidelines for behaviour, including anti-bullying
• ensure that we monitor the use of social media apps to keep our child safe
• support my child in homework and other opportunities for home-learning
• attend parents’ evenings and discussions about my child’s progress
• get to know about my child’s life at the school
• show respect to staff at school at all times

The School

We will try to:

• care for your child’s safety, happiness, learning and ensure that any bullying is dealt with according to the school’s policy
• Release your child at the end of the school day to known parents/carers of the child over the age of 16yrs.
• ensure that your child achieves his/her full potential as a valued member of the school community
• provide a balanced curriculum which meets the individual needs of your child
• achieve high standards of work and behaviour through building good relationships and developing a sense of responsibility
• keep you informed about general school matters and about your child’s progress in particular
• be open and welcoming at all times and offer opportunities for you to become involved in the daily life of the school
• show respect to parents/carers at all time

Pupil

I will try to:

• attend school regularly and on time
• bring all the equipment I need every day
• wear the school uniform and be tidy in appearance
• do all my class work and homework as well as I can
• be polite and helpful to others
• inform an adult if I am being bullied or if I know that someone else is being bullied
• not sign up to any social media apps without an adult knowing and supervising
• keep the school free from litter and graffiti
• respect and follow the school values
