At Southmead we take child welfare seriously, we are very fortunate to have a full time Safeguarding lead on our team.  We always encourage open and honest discussions with both families and children in a safe, confidential and nurturing environment as our main priority is our children's welfare. Southmead also works very closely with MASH (Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub) to whom we refer cases when families need extra support.

Online Safety

At Southmead we ensure that our children are educated about the importance of being safe online.

We teach our children to follow the SMART rules. To find out more about these, please click here.  See below for helpful links and guides for parents.
