It is really important that your child attends school as regularly as possible.
There is a very direct link between a pupil's progress and the amount of days that they attend school over an academic year. At Southmead our mantra is 'EVERY SECOND COUNTS!' It is essential therefore that your child has continuity in their education through good attendance.
At Southmead we care very much about every child reaching their full
potential in relation to their academic progress and we encourage all pupils
to achieve 100% attendance!
For more information, please read our attendance policy.
You can download our Exceptional Circumstances form here.
The school gates open at 8:45am. Registers are taken at 8:55am. If your child arrives after 8:55am they will be marked as 'Late'.
